NCAA basketball prediction
My earlier prediction to win it all was Florida. Florida is still one of my favorite to win the NCAA men's basketball championship!! But I have never been a fan of Duke because there always touted so much. All the announcers think that the ACC is always the best conference in basketball even though the Big East has been such a power house. But this year I think Duke especially with star player Ryan Kelley back. They would havenever beat Miami if it wasn't for his return, even though it was a close game its still a huge win at home because that was one of his first games back. Its a even bigger win because a lot of people still think that Miami is going to win the championship. Both these teams have the possibly to get a #1 seed and a #2 seed. Which either of the two seed you will be able to make a big run to the final four. My guess is that Duke will end up with a #1 seed because they are Duke and they always get a better seed then they should, and Miami will get a #2 seed and maybe a #3 seed because there name isn't Duke so they have a chance to get screwed on the seeding. If they did get the #3 seed that would some what surprise me but even if they did they would still have a good chance to win it all.

Senior for Syaracuse
The seniors at Syracuse University mes basketball team played their last home game last night ( 4/6/13) against the University Of Depaul. There are four seniors on the Syracuse Orange team. All four got playing time in this last game at the dome. There are 2 starters that are seniors that start on the team. One is James Southernland this was his first year starting. His last home game he ended off the night with a double double scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Brandon Triche is the other starting senior, he has start all four years at Syracuse starting in every single college game.. He ended off the night with 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assist. Both seniors got a standing ovation as they got taken out. The final score was 57-78 Syracuse.but before the game was over the crowed was chanting their names to put them in the Syracuse head coach turned toward the student section and smile as he nodded his head to say they'll get in. This let the other two seniors to get a minute of playing time. Griffin
Hoffmann and Matt
Lyde-Cajuste both got in the final 1:30 left on the game clock. Even though it wasn't much playing time it is still something these remarkable 2 young men will remember for the rest of their life.

NCAA bball
The #1 Gonzaga Bulldogs are ranked #1 for the first in school history! The Gonzaga Bulldogs are 29-2 with a 16-0 record the the WCC conference. #1 Gonzaga Bulldogs should not be ranked #1 in my mind. They have played 3 top 20 ranked teams and have lost to 2 out of the 3 of those games. They lost to both top 15 teams they played. They lost to the Illinois by 11, 85-74. They also lost to the Butler Bulldogs by 1, 64-63. Both these teams were ranked #13 at the time they played them. The only team they play that was ranked and ended up winning was #22 ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys and they only beat them by 1. I don't get how you can be ranked #1 when you haven't even beat anybody that is good. They have done nothing to deserve this. Just because you have a good record because the league you are is awful. They have a good field goal percentage but other than that they have nothing. NCAA mens basketball is down and the other teams are more even but this team has not even beat anyone that has beat anyone. This is why NCAA mens basketball standings make no sense.

NBA standings
I haven't blogged that much about the NBA. So this post is going to inform you what teams have been doing good in the NBA. As you can imagine the defending champions the Miami Heat are leading the way for the Eastern conference. But they aren't the best team in the league the San Antonio Spurs have the most wins but the same amount of loses of them Miami Heat. The San Antonio Spurs have a record of 47-14 for the western conference while the Miami Heat have a record of 44-14. The top 3 teams for western conference are all close in the standings. Oklahoma City are three games behind with a record of 43-16. The next team in the standings is LA Clippers with a record of 43-19 making them 4.5 games behind the Spurs.
The eastern conference are a lot farther spread out then the western conference the Indiana Pacers are 7 games behind with a record of 38-22. The NY Knicks are third in the conference and are behind 7.5 games with a record of 36-21. So things are a lot tighter in the Western conference even though the Spurs have a better record then the leading team in the other conference.

Florida's my favorite to win it all!
The #8 Florida Gators are my favorite to win the the NCAA men's basketball championship. Yup that's right #8 Florida Gators I predict to win it all!! Everyone in college basketball right now has there ups and downs and aren't very good this year. No body has been ranked #1 seed for very long and even the teams that have been ranked #1 end up losing a couple games in a row. For example the #12 ranked Syracuse Orange were once ranked #1 at the beginning of the year now they aren't even ranked in the top 10 anymore! Everyone in college basketball right now is so unpredictable that anyone could win it all. That's why I say that the #8 ranked Florida Gators will win it all. They are a team that can play with high pressure the whole game because they are a very quick team and have a lot of energy during the course of a game. They have a very good point guard who they have all the faith in who can carry a team with his skills sets. Also they have a big guy who can stand his ground with any other big guy in the country and he can also run the court better then any other big man in the country. That is why I believe Florida will win it all.
Syracuse gets upset again!
#6 Ranked Syracuse lost to the #11 ranked Georgetown Hoyas Saturday at the dome causing them to change there ranking to #12 in the US polls. But that ranking changed Monday as they played #22 ranked Marquette. This is a game that Syracuse should win but #22 Marquette had a change in plans as they won 71-74. Syracuse had big trouble when it came to foul trouble. The #12 Syracuse Orange had 22 fouls to #22 Marquette's 10. As you can see either #12 Syracuse Orange was hacking the crap out of #22 Marquette, the refs were making bad calls, or both Syracuse was hacking everyone and the refs were blowing the game. If you talk to a lot of people they will tell you that the refs weren't giving #12 Syracuse a call. Even though Syracuse was going to be in foul trouble anyways the refs weren't calling anything on #22 Marquette and they blow the whistle every time a Syracuse player were to breath on me.

rival game
Number 10 ranked Kansas State plays Number 14 ranked Kansas tonight at Kansas. #14 Kansas is coming a tough lose to the non ranked Oklahoma Sonners by 6. This is going to make Kansas play Even better in my opinion because not only is it a a rival game that is at home but it also a game that they are coming off that they should have one. This rival game is going to the most intense game of the night. Making both teams play even harder. This is why I feel like Kansas is going to pull the upset tonight and get the win by a spread of 4

#3 Michagan struggles
Previous first ranked team was moved to #3 after they lost to Indiana Saturday as the lost to the old #3 ranked team Indiana 73-81. After Indiana beat Michigan they moved to the #1 seed and Michigan moved the #3 ranked team. This have Michigan there second lose this season, as they previously lost to Ohio State earlier in the season. The Indiana game was play at Indiana. Indiana came out hot shooting 6 for 6 at the beginning of the game scoring 16 point without missing.
Michigan would take the court again on Tuesday the 5th as the play #10Ohio State. Michigan looks to revenge the last time they played and also the last time they play Ohio State. Michigan would struggle in this game as the game goes into over time. They would get the win 74-76 because Hardaway Jr had 23 points in this big time win!

Battle of the Brothers! Super Bowl 47
John Harbaugh head coach for the ravens faces his brother Jim Harbaugh head coach for the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII. This super is going to leave a memory for everyone. Since it was the first Super bowl that the brothers are first time. Also to be remembered was a record to be tied by Jacob Jones for the Raven. This happened on the Kickoff of the second half. He caught the ball 8 yards into the end zone to have a return of 108 yard! Putting the Ravens up 28-6 with 14:49 left in the 3rd quarter. The 49ers would go on a scoring streak after that in the 3rd quarter making the score 28-23. That wasn't the closest the 49ers would come, later in the 4th they came within 2. But that was as close as they were to come. They would end up losing by 3 with the final score of 34-31.
